Footage released Wednesday shows Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz filming himself promising to shoot up the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High school.
Believed to have been filmed the day the massacre occurred, cell phone video taken by Cruz shows him admitting he would shoot up the school later that day.
“Hello. My name is Nik and I’m going to be the next school shooter of 2018,” Cruz says in footage released by the Broward County Sheriff’s Office. “My goal is at least 20 people with an AR-15. … Location is Stoneman Douglas in Parkland, Florida.”
Sweden Democrats leader Jimmie Åkesson has triggered strong reactions by distancing himself from a biological view of the Swedish people.
According to Åkesson, one’s background and appearance is only secondary to one’s ability to adapt and work out a common national identity.
In an interview with Swedish Radio, Jimmie Åkesson, the leader of the right-wing Sweden Democrats, has resolutely dissociated himself from strictly biological characteristics defining the Swedish nation. According to Åkesson, Sweden won’t return to being a country of the “blonde and blue-eyed” within the foreseeable future, and doesn’t even consider it desirable.
Chicago may be a sanctuary city, but the special status didn’t stop U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement from removing 13 dozen illegal immigrants from the metropolitan area over a six-day campaign before Memorial Day.
ICE agents descended on 37 communities in the area to arrest 156 illegal immigrants, nearly half of them criminals with prior convictions. Those arrested included gun-toting thugs, violent gang members, sex traffickers, car thieves, drug dealers, wife beaters, drunken drivers, drug mules, drug abusers, and rapists, ICE reports.
“Fourteen of those arrested were immigration fugitives who have final orders of removal. Thirty-six others illegally re-entered the United States after having been previously deported, which is a felony,” according to a recent ICE news release. “The remaining 106 arrests were at-large aliens who are illegally present in the United States.”
The new 5G cell phone network that is being rolled out across the nation is going to make communicating by cell phone super smooth and super fast.
It will basically revolutionize the entire cell phone industry, and for multitudes of phone users this new era cannot get here fast enough. But will there be a great price to pay for this amazing technology? Right now, U.S. wireless companies are installing hundreds of thousands of new antennas, and each one of these new antennas is a microwave transmitter. If you live or work near one of these antennas, that means that you are literally being bombarded by microwave radiation on a constant basis, and once this entire network goes up nationwide it will be extremely difficult for anyone to get away from this radiation completely. Some experts are warning us to consider the health implications before it is too late to do anything about it.
When we went from 3G to 4G, it didn’t seem like that big of a deal, and so many people are wondering what the big fuss is over 5G.
Grand Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Republic of Iran, has released a statement calling on the United Nations to “seriously” pursue seven “human rights” cases in the United States. One of these is what Khamenei perceives as the need for gun control.
“Another case which the UN should definitely pursue is the freedom of selling guns in the US with which so many crimes are being committed,” Khamenei said in a statement published today.
“You hear and witness that every day in schools, in universities, in markets, and on the street that a teenager, a man, or a woman fires a volley of bullets at some people because of some problem they have–they are extremely angry, or they are mad and have some personal problems,” Khamenei said.
After being purchased by dishonest globalist Jeff Bezos — the same “Dr. Evil” anti-American creep who runs the fake news Washington Post — Whole Foods Market is now reversing five years of promises to consumers by suspending its GMO labeling promise.
This means Whole Foods will continue to sell unlabeled GMOs while fraudulently insinuating to customers that its stores sell no GMOs whatsoever.
Back in 2012, when Whole Foods was desperately trying to quell customer concerns over genetically engineered ingredients found in thousands of grocery items sold at Whole Foods Market stores, Natural News released exclusive undercover video from the “Organic Spies,” exposing how Whole Foods deliberately trained its employees to lie to customers about GMOs. With other groups like the Organic Consumers Association joining the effort to expose Whole Foods’ GMO deceptions, the grassroots outcry against Whole Foods was rapidly expanding, and the retailer scrambled to get in front of the GMO labeling issue to try to comfort customers.
Coffee behemoth Starbucks (SBUX) closed all of its 8,000-plus U.S. stores for four hours on Tuesday afternoon so its 175,000 employees could participate in company-wide racial-bias training.
“I don’t know of another company in the history of American business that’s done anything remotely like this,” executive chairman Howard Schultz said.
Closing all U.S. stores comes at a price. Bloomberg estimates it could result in $16.7 million in lost sales, which compares to $22.4 billion in revenues the company had in fiscal 2017. Starbucks will also be paying all employees participating in the training.
“[It’s] quite expensive,” Schultz said. “We’re a public company and we’ve had certain shareholders call and say, ‘How much is this going to cost and how do you justify this?’… My answer to them was, ‘We don’t view it as on an expense. We view it as an investment in our people and the longterm culture and values of Starbucks.’”
Some customers took to Twitter to share their frustration at not having access to their afternoon caffeine fix, while others watched in amusement as people attempted to enter the closed locations.
California just edged closer to establishing its own net neutrality law in the wake of the FCC’s decision to kill federal measures. The state Senate has passed a bill that would not only institute rules like those the FCC implemented in 2015, but would forbid the practice of zero-rating services to give them advantages over competitors. Much like Oregon and other states making similar legal moves, internet providers would have to honor these neutrality rules if they wanted government contracts.
The bill still has to clear the state Assembly before it can be signed into law.
If that happens, the big question is whether or not the FCC will challenge the rules. In California’s case, it seems likely — the FCC could argue that the rules directly contradict federal-level regulation. Some states, such as New York, have tried using executive orders that rely on the government contract clause rather than instituting separate rules. Those might be more difficult for the FCC to unwind.
The set of “Morning Joe” warned viewers Tuesday that they should vote Democrat in the 2018 midterms or else it could be the end of American democracy.
“These midterms are soon to be upon us and I only have one piece of advice for people. You have to vote for a Democrat,” said New York Times opinion writer Thomas Friedman on Tuesday.
The moment elicited an instant “yeah” from co-host Mika Brzezinski.
Friedman said that he has a lot of “very conservative leanings” on a number of issues and that his warnings were only motivated with the country’s best interests in mind.
