Mitch McConnell, Lindsey Graham Retain US Senate Seats

Kentucky Senator Mitch McConnell was able to retain his seat on the US Senate Tuesday, pulling off a seventh term victory against Democrat challenger Amy McGrath.

According to Google election result reporting based off Associated Press data, McConnell won with 58.3 percent of the vote, compared to McGrath’s 37.8 percent, a difference of over 400,000 votes.

McConnell recently pushed to get the Senate to vote on the nomination of President Trump’s 3rd Supreme Court pick Amy Coney Barrett earlier this month.
