Chrissy Teigen conducted a massive overhaul of her Twitter account as conspiracy theorists continue to link her to the late convicted felon Jeffrey Epstein.
Just last week the model slammed Twitter trolls for alleging she once flew on the disgraced financier’s private jet. The accusations, which she vehemently denies amid her own denouncing of Epstein’s gal pal Ghislaine Maxwell, led to her blocking 1 million accounts on Tuesday to escape the noise.
“I have block chained over one million people, ONE MILLION people today and I am still flooded with sick psychopaths. So please, spare me the ‘just ignore them, they’re just trolls,'” she tweeted.
Teigen went on to declare that she will do her “best to stop entertaining them.”
“They have definitely been living for this and have zeroed in on ONLY me. Thank u to EVERYONE for helping me, in and out of the dm’s,” she added.

The Washington Examiner confirmed the button on Instagram Monday, following a tweet bringing attention to the GIF by conservative commentator Katie Pavlich.
“Instagram has a ‘mute white people’ button in stories,” Pavlich tweeted Monday.

UK police bragged about arresting a 12-year-old boy for offensive social media posts sent to a multi-millionaire Premier League footballer.
The child was arrested after he sent racist messages to Wilfried Zaha telling the Crystal Palace star “you better not score tomorrow you black cunt,” along with images of the Ku Klux Klan.
Zaha shared the Instagram page belonging to the boy with his 885,000 Twitter followers, prompting massive media denunciations of the child and an immediate police investigation.
“We were alerted to a series of racist messages sent to a footballer today and after looking into them and conducting checks, we have arrested a boy,” tweeted West Midlands Police.
“The 12-year-old from #Solihull has been taken to custody. Thanks to everyone who raised it. Racism won’t be tolerated.”

A lawsuit filed in a New York federal court last week illuminates an alarming new trend: foreign governments are increasingly able to hire US-based cybersecurity firms with elite training from the CIA, NSA and other intelligence agencies to target Americans and others who are hostile to their interests.
The lawsuit claims that the Muslim Brotherhood-promoting Gulf emirate of Qatar sought out American intelligence operatives—many of whom were trained by the American military and Intelligence Community—to surveil, hack and intimidate influential Qatari critics in tandem with coordinated public relations campaigns.
The suit was filed by Elliott Broidy, a venture capitalist and former Republican National Committee finance chairman, who has been described as “an influential Qatari critic” of Qatar’s support for anti-American and anti-Israel Islamists like Hamas, the Taliban and the Muslim Brotherhood.
American firms with lucrative Qatari retainers allegedly hacked and disseminated Broidy’s personal communications to the public in early 2018, part of what he alleges was a systematic smear campaign funded by the Qatari government and carried out by a litany of American private security and public relations firms.

Facebook confirmed today that to prevent the spread of coronavirus and promote a safe space to virtue-signal, masks will be required on all profile pictures going forward.
If you log in to Facebook you will be prompted to change your profile picture to one where you are wearing a mask. If you don’t have a mask, Facebook offers digital mask filters to give the appearance that you’re wearing one. Those who refuse the mask will be asked to delete their accounts.
“This is an issue of public safety,” said Mark Zuckerberg. “We were seeing people just commenting on things and posting memes and stuff while their face was clearly visible. The CDC currently says that masks are good, and therefore, you must wear a mask.”
An assistant then whispered in Zuckerberg’s ear.
U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement announced Monday that foreign students living in or planning to live in the U.S. while taking online courses at an American university would not be able to do so.
Instead, the federal immigration enforcement agency announced, those students will need to complete their coursework from their home countries.
But will those students, particularly those living in countries with limited freedoms, experience online censorship if their American professors say something deemed to be unfavorable to the ruling party in their country? Could the most widely-used video conferencing service cave to authoritarian government demands for censorship?
Video conferencing company Zoom recently suspended the accounts of pro-democracy Hong Kong activists at the request of the Chinese Communist Party. In a June blog post on the company’s website, Zoom said it reinstated the accounts. The activists – Lee Cheuk-yan, Wang Dan, and Zhou Fengsuo – helped organize online events to commemorate the Tiananmen Square Massacre.

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has confirmed Washington is considering a ban on Chinese social media apps, including the ultra-popular TikTok, apparently inspired by a similar ban in India and Australia’s threat to do the same.
Speaking with Fox News, Pompeo affirmed “we’re certainly looking at” banning TikTok and other Chinese apps, following the lead of India, which banned 59 Chinese apps after border skirmishes with Beijing, and Australia, which has threatened to do the same.
Americans should download the apps “only if you want your information in the hands of the Chinese Communist Party,” he smirked.
International students in the US whose colleges switch to online-only classes this fall will have to leave the country or transfer to another school, according to a Monday afternoon order by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE).
Foreign nationals participating in the Student and Exchange Visitor Program (SEVP) had previously been allowed to take their spring and summer 2020 courses online due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
If affected students don’t transfer to in-person programs and remain in the US, they will be subject to “immigration consequences including, but not limited to, the initiation of removal proceedings.”
The feature, financed by the backers of ‘To the Bone’ and ‘Loving Vincent,’ is said to be the first to rely on an artificially intelligent actor.
As the industry grapples with how to reopen for production safely, one movie is proceeding with a lead actress who is immune to COVID-19 — because she’s a robot named Erica.
Bondit Capital Media, which financed titles such as To the Bone and the Oscar nominated Loving Vincent, Belgium-based Happy Moon Productions and New York’s Ten Ten Global Media have committed to back b, a $70 million science fiction film which producers say will be the first to rely on an artificially intelligent actor.
Based on a story by visual effects supervisor Eric Pham, Tarek Zohdy, and Sam Khoze, who also produces through Life Entertainment, b follows a scientist who discovers dangers associated with a program he created to perfect human DNA and helps the artificially intelligent woman he designed (Erica) escape.
Twitter on Friday announced a list of words and phrases that their engineering team will begin using in place of ‘problematic’ language which “does not reflect our values as a company or represent the people we serve.”
Now, “man hours” will be “person hours” or “engineer hours,” the word “Blacklist” will become “Denylist,” and Whitelist will be the “Allowlist.”
Don’t even think about misgendering – the ultimate microaggression.
Twitter’s new rules apply to source code, documentation, FAQs, technical design docs, “and more,” while the company is also “implementing a browser extension that will help our teams identify words in documents and web pages, and suggest alternative inclusive words.”
