Ten people have been arrested during clashes between anti-immigration protesters and police in Dover on Saturday after a record 409 desperate asylum seekers crossed the Channel in one day this week.
Hundreds of campaigners were confronted by groups of pro-migrant protesters in a counter-demonstration following the arrival of 5,600 refugees in small boats this year.
The protest had blocked the A20 dual carriageway, the main route in and out of the port, which has since been reopened.
Rival protests took place in the Kent town just days after a record 416 migrants made it to the UK after crossing the English Channel.
A male migrant illegally present in France robbed one woman before sexually assaulting two others in separate attacks, according to reports.
The man, who is homeless, claims he was drunk and has no recollection of his crime spree, police say.
“On Tuesday night, Lyon police arrested a man in Tobie Rebatel Square in the 1st arrondissement of Lyon,” Lyon Mag reports.
“Shortly before 1 a.m., a 27-year-old drunken homeless man snatched a woman’s purse but lost his loot as he fled during events that took place at Saint-Antoine Quay in the 2nd arrondissement.”
Mohammad Hallak found the key to unlock the mysteries of his new homeland when he realised you could switch the subtitles on your Netflix account to German. The 21-year-old Syrian from Aleppo jotted down words he didn’t know, increased his vocabulary and quickly became fluent. Last year, he passed his end of high school exams with a grade of 1.5, the top mark in his year group.
Five years to the month after arriving in Germany as an unaccompanied minor, Hallak is now in his third term studying computer science at the Westphalian University of Applied Sciences and harbours an aspiration to become an IT entrepreneur. “Germany was always my goal”, he says, in the mumbled sing-song of the Ruhr valley dialect. “I’ve always had a funny feeling that I belong here.”
Hallak, an exceptionally motivated student with high social aptitude, is not representative of all the 1.7 million people who applied for asylum in Germany between 2015 and 2019, making it the country with the fifth highest population of refugees in the world. Some of those with whom he trekked through Turkey and across the Mediterranean, he says, haven’t picked up more than a few words and “just chill”.

The Sudanese migrant found dead on a beach in Calais after trying to reach the UK who the media reported was 16-years-old is actually 28-years-old according to travel documents seen by French authorities.
After their small dinghy capsized while trying to reach the UK, the migrant’s friend told rescuers that Abdulfatah Hamdallah was 16 and this became the main detail of the story when it was subsequently reported on by the media.
Now that all appears to have been a fabrication.
One of the shovels the migrants used as oars to steer the boat punctured the flimsy vessel and the two fell into the sea, according to investigators.
A proposed Democratic Party platform would permanently open the US borders by giving asylum to all migrants across the world.
The platform, known as the Biden-Sanders Unity Task Force Recommendations, would also provide a ‘pathway to US citizenship’ for all aliens living in the US in addition to opening up the country to hundreds of millions of migrants.
“The massive expansion of illegal and legal immigration — in addition to the hundreds of thousands of illegal aliens and more than 2.5 million legal immigrants and foreign workers added to the U.S. population every year — would come as more than 35 million Americans are unemployed or underemployed,” Breitbart reported. “An amnesty for all illegal aliens, expansion of asylum, more refugee resettlement, and continued admissions of employment-based green cards would mean tens of millions more foreign nationals for whom unemployed Americans would have to compete for jobs against.”
The United Nations is demanding a suspension of deportations worldwide in response to the coronavirus crisis, along with free passage for migrants and ‘asylum seekers’ seeking to relocate to more stable countries.
The U.N. Network on Migration issued an effective call for global open borders under the guise of ‘concern’ about the COVID-19 pandemic and how it has led to the closures of national borders and tighter immigration policies in many countries.
“The Network calls on States to suspend forced returns during the pandemic, in order to protect the health of migrants and communities, and uphold the human rights of all migrants, regardless of status,” the U.N. said in a press release.
“Keeping everyone safe means ensuring that no-one faces the risk of refoulement by being returned to places where their life, safety or human rights are threatened. It means that collective expulsions, such as arbitrary pushbacks of migrants and asylum-seekers at borders, must be halted.”

Two men in the UK were arrested on charges of racially aggravated offenses after they posted stickers related to the coronavirus outbreak which said “pubs closed, borders open.”
The stickers, another of which said “open border, virus disorder,” were posted on lamp posts, bins, bus stop signs and bollards around areas of Sheffield. They are believed to be the work of the Hundred-Handers group, described as “far right” by the BBC.
Police said two men, aged 20 and 22, were held on suspicion of racially aggravated public order offences and have now been released while investigations continue.
The World Health Organization blocked doctors from urging countries to impose border controls to stop the spread of coronavirus, it has been revealed.
While the organization was demanding countries impose zero border controls, it was also campaigning against the profiling of international travelers in order to prevent the “stigmatization” of Chinese people (hurt feelings).
We first reported on the WHO telling countries not to impose travel bans back at the end of January, when the organization released a statement urging against “any travel or trade restriction” while demanding countries not engage in “discrimination” in their handling of the coronavirus outbreak.
In early February, Director-General of the World Health Organization Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus re-iterated this in a statement in which he said that travel restrictions “can have the effect of increasing fear and stigma.”
Right up until the end of February, the WHO continued “to advise against the application of travel or trade restrictions to countries experiencing COVID-19 outbreaks,” despite the rapid spread of the disease.
The French government neglected to close its national borders at the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, instead imposing ‘borders’ around every citizen in the form of a strict quarantine, according to journalist François Lenglet.
Lenglet slammed the misguided approach during a recent interview, calling it “absurd.”
“We delayed closing the borders for ideological reasons,” Lenglet said. “A quarantine, what is it? It’s like a border. So each one of us is in his own little republic. We’re not allowed to go out so we don’t contaminate others and so we won’t be exposed. That’s the definition of a border.”
“We’ve closed the borders, but just around each one of us.”
