Kentucky Senator Rand Paul (R) laid into coronavirus task force head Dr. Anthony Fauci over his failed central planning one-size-fits-all approach to dealing with the COVID pandemic.
“If society meekly submits to an expert, and that expert is wrong, a great deal of harm may occur,” Paul told Fauci during a Senate Health, Education, Labor & Pensions committee hearing on Tuesday.
Paul quoted Austrian economist Friedrich Hayek’s “Fatal Conceit,” a classic critique of anti-collectivism.
“Fatal Conceit is the concept that central planning with decision-making concentrated in a few hands can never fully grasp the millions of complex individual interactions occurring simultaneously in the marketplace,” Paul said.
“It is a fatal conceit to believe any one person or small group of people has the knowledge necessary to direct an economy or dictate public health behavior.”
Democratic Senators Kamala Harris and Cory Booker’s Orwellian “anti-lynching bill” will allow the feds to throw Americans in prison for 10 years for slapping someone and uttering a racial slur, Senator Rand Paul revealed Thursday.
The bill, which Cory Booker said last year was inspired by Jussie Smollett’s supposed “lynching,” does not make lynching illegal as it’s already illegal but instead creates a new crime called “conspiracy to lynch” that will allow the feds to ramp up mass incarceration for thought crimes.
Senator Paul is “single-handedly” holding this atrocious bill up as the GOP-controlled senate is too cowardly to stand against it, lest they be perceived as “pro-lynching.”
Senator Rand Paul declared Wednesday that Joe Biden has been “caught red handed” abusing surveillance powers to go after a political opponent.
Paul was recating to the news that Joe Biden is on the list of Obama officials who potentially received intelligence by way of unmasking requests against Mike Flynn, President Trump’s former national security advisor.
“Remember we went through this thing called impeachment?” Senator Paul stated at a briefing.
“They said President Trump was using the govt to go after a political opponent? This is VP Biden using the spying powers of the US to go after a political opponent.” Paul declared, adding “He’s caught red-handed here.”
Senator Rand Paul (R-Ky.) roasted leading infectious disease expert Dr. Anthony Fauci during a Senate hearing on Monday over his recommendation to keep America in lockdown to slow the spread of the coronavirus.
Fauci declared that schools nationwide would not reopen in the fall, Paul took him to task during the virtual Senate hearing.
“I don’t think any of us are certain when we do these modelings, there have been more people wrong with modelings than right,” Paul told him. “We’re opening up a lot of economies around the U.S., and I hope that people who are predicting ‘doom and gloom’ and saying ‘oh we can’t do this, there’s going to be a surge’, will admit that they are wrong if there isn’t a surge, because I think that’s what’s going to happen.”
Senator Rand Paul has called for the economy to be reopened, saying that it is the only solution for recovery.
Appearing on Fox News, a bearded Paul said that Americans need to be allowed to go back to work imminently or there will “continue to be economic calamity.”
“To people [who] ask me I remind them that we have no money,” Paul urged.
“We have no rainy day account. We have no savings account. The $3 trillion that we’ve already passed out is imaginary money.” The Senator said, referring to the already staggering national debt.
“It’s being borrowed basically from China. So, the irony is we got the virus from China, and now we are going to be more dependent by borrowing more money from China.” Paul stressed.
“The only thing that recovers our economy is opening the economy.” Paul asserted.
Following the spread of fake news that Rand Paul has infected the entire Senate with the coronavirus, Nancy Pelosi’s daughter expressed support for violent assault on the Senator, tweeting that ‘Rand Paul’s neighbor was right’.
Christine Pelosi was referring to a physical assault on Paul by his Democrat neighbor, Rene Boucher, in November 2017 at his home in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
Boucher, was sentenced to 30 days in prison for assault.
UPDATE (January 30, 2020 6:05PM CT): After Paul posted the question he was denied to Twitter, President Donald Trump retweeted the senator’s thread.

Supreme Court Justice John Roberts refused to read a question from Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) containing the name of suspected whistleblower Eric Ciaramella during the Senate impeachment trial Thursday.
After reading the question to himself, Roberts announced, “The presiding officer declines to read the question as submitted.”
Sen. Paul later held a press conference where he read his question and insisted he “made no reference to any whistleblower.”
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) went into hostile territory during an appearance on “The View” where the show’s hosts kissed the political establishment’s butt by pushing for more war in Syria and for America to embrace socialism.
Whoopie Goldberg started the interview by asking Paul why he agrees with President Trump’s decision to remove U.S. troops from Syria.
Paul stated, “I think these wars are senseless, and so does President Trump, he doesn’t want to get us involved in another Iraq war in Syria.”
Senator Rand Paul is waging battle against waste. In his latest ‘waste report’, the Senator reveals how the government is adding to the $22 trillion national debt by subsidizing all manner of pointless activities, including $48 billion in improper Medicare and Medicaid payments.
All in all, Senator Paul totaled up $50 BILLION in wasted dollars, and he could have found a lot more had he scratched beneath the surface.
Some of the more bizarre things the government is wasting money on include the State Department spending $100,000 in subsidies for the Pakistani film industry.
The money will reportedly go to teach ‘aspiring filmmakers’ how to write screenplays, with a particular focus on themes of “strength in diversity” and “women’s empowerment”.
Why does this help America? No one really knows. Best guess is that its some sort of odd virtue signal on a grand scale. ‘Look at America helping these poor brown people make better films’.
