A majority of those attending President Trump’s rally in Duluth, Minnesota, were not Republicans, and over 17 percent of those in attendance did not vote in the last presidential election cycle, Republican National Committee (RNC) Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel announced on Thursday, citing data gleaned from the event.
“Our data from the Duluth Rally shows @realDonaldTrump is still bringing in tons of new voters,” she said, listing the statistics:
- 60% of attendees were NOT Republican
- 20.9% were Democrat
- 17.2% did not vote in 2016
- 8.4% have not voted in last 4 elections
Republican Senator Rand Paul revealed that Washington, D.C. mayor Muriel Bowser refused a Secret Service request to use city resources to provide better security outside President Donald Trump’s White House speech for the Republican National Convention, but she “refused” to do so.
Paul and his wife were mobbed by leftist rioters as he exited the convention. Bowser has previously ordered “Black Lives Matter” to be painted on a street in Washington near the White House.
Sen. Rand Paul writes in an editorial for Fox News (emphasis added): “My wife Kelley and I were attempting to leave the White House event.
We were staying at a hotel directly across the street, maybe 50 yards from the gates of the White House.
But as we went to leave, it became apparent there was no safe exit out the gates and through the unruly mob that had gathered there.

Republican leadership at the RNC Convention this week talked a big game when it comes to “bringing the troops home” – something Trump has been promising since 2016 – but which has not yet ultimately been realized.
But can he deliver now as part of a pre-election promise? It looks like the wheels are finally in motion.
Multiple reports citing Pentagon officials on Friday say up to one-third of all American soldiers will permanently return from Iraq over the next two to three months.
This would bring numbers down from 5,200 to about 3,500 according to Pentagon officials. Trump is in the meantime expected to tout an Iraq withdrawal as a success in ending the wasteful wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Protesters harassed people in the streets of Washington, DC, following the last night of the Republican National Convention at the White House.
Many of the individuals harassed were Republican politicians and RNC guests who were leaving the convention’s closing ceremonies and were met by protesters shoving, cursing, and shouting Black Lives Matter slogans at them.
Breitbart News reporters and various others on the scene captured video of the confrontations.
Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) appeared on Fox & Friends on Friday to describe his encounter with BLM after Thursday’s RNC where rioters mobbed and attacked Paul and his wife.
“It was horrific,” Paul stated. “We had two women with us who were friends of ours and we came out of the speech but we couldn’t go to our hotel across the street because the mob was already chasing people down who chose to go out that exit.”
Paul and his group were told by Secret Service to go the Trump Hotel 45 minutes away and then, they took an Uber all the way back to their hotel across the street from the White House.
When their Uber was blocked by protesters, Paul decided to walk with his group two blocks to the hotel, and that’s when the mob attacked.
“They saw me right when we got to the policemen fortunately or I don’t think we would have survived,” Paul said.

President Donald Trump delivered his nomination acceptance speech at the Republican National Convention on the White House lawn Thursday, in which he touted American greatness and criticized Democrat opponent Joe Biden for his ineffective 47-year career in politics.
Far left activists protesting outside the White House during President Donald Trump’s RNC acceptance speech lost their minds amid a massive pro-Trump fireworks display Thursday night.
The pyrotechnic spectacle, which managed to spell out “Trump” and “2020” in the sky with the Washington Monument as the backdrop, made Joe Biden’s relatively tiny display look like snakes and sparklers in comparison.
In a telling display, Hollywood and media leftists engaged in a tirade of attacks on black and naturalised speakers at the RNC, ironically charging that the GOP is attempting to hide its own racism behind a display of diversity.
The speakers who were the target of the abuse included First Lady Melania Trump, Republican Kentucky Attorney General Daniel Cameron, Republican South Carolina Sen. Tim Scott, former professional football player Herschel Walker, and former U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Nikki Haley.
Unsurprisingly, it was CNN pushing the ‘fake diversity’ claims to begin with, as commentator Nia Malika Henderson suggested that the aforementioned speakers were being used to inject some false diversity when the Republican party is still “all about” white people.
“It’s sort of an indirect appeal to white voters when you kind of put black issues, black people, black Republicans front and center, as we saw happen tonight,” Henderson claimed, adding “Nikki Haley, obviously a woman of color and Tim Scott and a couple of other African Americans. I mean, on the whole the party isn’t very diverse. It seemed a little diverse tonight with Tim Scott making that final sort of key note address and Nikki Haley making a kind of key note address.”
An angry Black Lives Matter mob tried to attack Senator Rand Paul outside the Republican National Convention in DC during yet another night of mayhem.
“Just got attacked by an angry mob of over 100, one block away from the White House. Thank you to @DCPoliceDept for literally saving our lives from a crazed mob,” tweeted the Senator.
The video shows Paul and his wife walking down the street after leaving the venue while BLM agitators chant “say her name!”
Their line of protection is pretty thin with just a handful of police officers on hand to block the BLM rioters.
One of them then tries to get to Paul by pushing away a police officer holding a bike, temporarily causing the Senator and the officer to lose their balance.

CNN cut out of President Trump’s speech at the RNC Monday and claimed that most of what Trump was saying was “misleading” or “outright lies”.
The network made good on an earlier promise by host Brian Stelter that it would ‘live fact check’ the GOP convention, despite not doing so during the Democratic convention last week.
As the network interrupted Trump, Anderson Cooper explained that they were cutting away because the President was being “negative” despite promising to be “positive.”
Cooper then claimed that Trump made false claims about mail-in voting and lied about Democrats wanting to shut down the country to purposefully disrupt the economy as a way of trying to oust the President from office.
