With its publication this week of a tedious, picayune 966-page “report” rehashing the long-since-collapsed ‘Russian collusion’ false narrative, the Senate “Intelligence” Committee joins its discredited House counterpart as another powerful public body co-opted by cynical partisan manipulators as an illegitimate tool to inflict political damage, if not personal destruction, on their most effective adversaries.
The ‘report’ is nothing but a naked presidential election year ploy, attempting to resuscitate one of the most vile of all malicious political frauds ever perpetrated on a sitting president and the people of this country.
This repackaged redux of the repeatedly-debunked Russian collusion smear is clearly the handiwork of the committee’s de facto chairman (though his title is vice-chairman) Senator Mark Warner, a slippery demagogic partisan politician who has proven to be one of the most odious and manipulative of all rabid Trump antagonists in Congress. Warner rivals the execrable liar-leaker Adam Schiff in his penchant for deceitful grandstanding and underhanded partisan abuse of congressional oversight authority.
On the strong advice of my attorneys and after giving the decision considerable thought, I have reluctantly decided to dismiss the appeal of what I believe to be a wrongful conviction in a trial tainted by judicial bias, egregious and blatant juror bias and misconduct and prosecutorial misconduct.
Therefore, I directed my attorneys to withdraw my appeal from the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit.
I Could Never Get a Fair Hearing Before this Court of Appeals, Given its Political Agenda
First, I have come to the firm conclusion based on their previous actions in my case to date and based on their recent actions in the Flynn case, that it would be impossible for me to ever get a fair hearing from this appellate court for the vitally important, fundamental constitutional issues my case raises.
Although I believe the gag order issued in my case was patently unconstitutional and the free speech issues filed in a Writ of Mandamus with the United States Court of Appeals for the D.C. Circuit, by one of the most prominent First Amendment lawyers in the country were fairly straightforward, the Court waited many weeks before granting the Government’s request for more time. During this time, while the Washington Post (the dominant newspaper in the jurisdiction from which the jury was selected) as well as CNN, MSNBC and others attacked me with falsehoods, I was prohibited from responding. Let there be no doubt the jury pool was seriously tainted and I sustained serious damage. The Appeals Court after an unreasonable delay, took no action but rather sent the decision back to Judge Berman Jackson, as if there was any possibility that she would vacate her own order.
U.S. Attorney John Durham, who is investigating the Russiagate conspiracy against President Donald Trump that played out during and after the 2016 election, has in his possession key information pertaining to the set-up of Roger Stone.
Trump adviser Stone was convicted on process crimes during the Robert Mueller investigation but his prison sentence was commuted by the President.
Durham, who is reportedly seeking to interview ex-CIA boss John Brennan as part of his probe, has a lot of material at his disposal.
Former Trump campaign adviser Michael Caputo provided to the Durham team a dossier, first reported by NATIONAL FILE, that has some bombshell information in it, including the fact that a Russian who tried to set up Stone during the campaign was a longtime informant for Robert Mueller’s FBI.
An attorney who had helped billionaire pedophile Jeffrey Epstein get a reduced sentence for his sex trafficking of minors is now arguing that Roger Stone should be prosecuted again over the debunked Russia collusion narrative.
Gerald B. Lefcourt and another lawyer penned an op-ed for CNN calling for New York to bring state charges against Stone after President Trump commuted his 40-month sentence last week.
Lefcourt claimed that the Constitution is “under assault” due to Trump’s perfectly legal commutation of Stone’s sentence.
“To almost no one’s surprise, days before Roger Stone’s prison sentence was about to begin, President Donald Trump has spared his long-time political crony from the pen — late Friday, Mr. Trump commuted Stone’s sentence,” Lefcourt wrote. “It is time for New York prosecutors to answer this latest assault by Trump on the rule of law: They should ready a state prosecution of Stone.”
Below is President Trump’s order of clemency granted to Roger Stone.
The clemency order was released after Stone’s trial judge Amy Berman Jackson demanded to see the order and to know whether the act also covered Stone’s two-year supervised release in addition to striking down Stone’s 40-month prison sentence.
Sure enough, Trump did commune “the entirety of the two-year term of supervised release with all its conditions” in addition to the prison sentence and the $20,000 fine.
It was a strange bit of grandstanding by Judge Jackson, as it was easily assumed that the clemency order would strike down Stone’s entire sentence and give him a chance to further appeal his conviction.
Additionally, the Constitution doesn’t allow judicial oversight over the clear executive power it grants to the president – and even if it did, it wouldn’t fall under the purview of a district judge like Jackson.
Judge Amy Berman Jackson is now ordering the parties to clarify the scope of President Trump’s commutation of Roger Stone.
Because Judge Jackson hasn’t abused Roger Stone enough.
Judge Jackson asked parties to address whether President Trump’s commutation applies to only Stone’s prison term and she asked for a copy of the executive order.
President Trump commuted Roger Stone’s sentence on Friday and the Democrat-media complex has been out in full force attacking Stone.
Judge Seeks Copy of Order Commuting Roger Stone Sentence
A federal judge on Monday sought a copy of the executive order commuting Roger Stone’s prison sentence in order to address questions about the scope of President Trump‘s commutation.
Judge Amy Berman Jackson said in an order that she is seeking the document in response to questions from the U.S. Probation Office. Berman Jackson, an Obama appointee, said she needs to determine whether the commutation “involves the sentence of incarceration alone or also the period of supervised release.”
The Justice Department later released the executive grant of clemency, showing that Trump commuted the entirety of Stone’s supervised release in addition to remitting any unpaid remainder of the $20,000 fine he had been ordered to pay by Berman Jackson.
Establishment Trying to Shut Roger Stone Up
In a video posted to Rex Jones’ Twitter account, radio and TV host Alex Jones revealed that President Donald Trump broke with the advice and guidance of Attorney General Bill Barr to grant clemency to political veteran Roger Stone on Friday night, revealing that President Trump told Barr that “this is going to happen” regardless of Barr’s objections.
Jones revealed that he has spoken to numerous White House officials, members of Congress, and Stone himself, who all told him for weeks that President Trump wanted to either commute Stone’s sentence or pardon him, but that the Justice Department led by Barr was pushing President Trump to allow Stone to go to prison.
“Trump has overridden the Justice Department and Bill Barr who did not want Roger to not serve jail time,” said Jones. “In fact that was the one big piece of information that I got from the White House, that I got from members of Congress, that I got from Roger Stone over and over again.”
President Donald Trump on Friday commuted the sentence of longtime confidant Roger Stone.
Trump confirmed the news Friday evening via Twitter, posting a tweet from Fox News’ Shannon Bream showing a White House statement reading, “Roger Stone has already suffered greatly. He was treated very unfairly, as were many others in this case. Roger Stone is now a free man!”
Stone was set to head to prison on Tuesday.
Stone, 67, had been asking the president for a pardon, or at least a commutation of his three-year sentence to buy additional time to fight for his innocence in court.
Roger Stone is a political prisoner who was railroaded by the Deep State to make the “Russiagate” hoax look legitimate.
Now that Russiagate has been undeniably debunked – and wrongdoing by the FBI and other entities has been exposed – it’s time for President Trump to end this charade and the nightmare that Roger Stone’s family has been through.
