Black Caucus Chair Slams Hypocrite Pelosi

After President Donald Trump agreed on Friday to open the government for three weeks, Rep. Karen Bass (D-CA), the chair of the Congressional Black Caucus (CBC), said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) should just give the State of the Union address “since she’s obviously the one running the country.”

Pelosi cancelled Tuesday’s State of the Union address and said on Friday, after Trump decided to open the government on Democrats’ terms, that she and Trump still have to “discuss a mutually agreeable date.”

“The State of the Union is not planned now,” Pelosi said when asked if there will be a State of the Union address on Tuesday. “What I said to the president is when the government is open we will discuss a mutually agreeable date, and I’ll look forward to doing that and welcoming the president to the House of Representatives for the State of the Union when we agree on that.”

DHS Shuts Down Pelosi, Fully Prepared to Support Secure SOTU Address

President Trump Visits The Customs And Border Protection National Targeting Center

Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen poured cold water on House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-Calif.) justification to delay President Trump’s State of the Union address, assuring the American public that the agency was “fully prepared to secure” the event.

“The Department of Homeland Security and the US Secret Service are fully prepared to support and secure the State of the Union,” she tweeted Wednesday. “We thank the Service for their mission focus and dedication and for all they do each day to secure our homeland.”

Pelosi had written a letter to Trump requesting he delay the address for “security” reasons, citing lack of funding for the Secret Service amid the partial government shutdown.

ACLU Calls Nationalism “Exclusionary”

The American Civil Liberties Union complained President Trump used the word “America” too many times in his State of the Union speech.

“Tonight, President Trump said the word ‘America’ more than 80 times in his speech. Yet, after a divisive first year, we hear and feel how exclusionary that ‘America’ is, with policies that have harmed so many vulnerable American communities,” said ACLU national policy director Faiz Shakir Tuesday night in a written statement.

“The ACLU stands ready to protect these communities, both in the courts and at the polls.”

CNN Forced to Abandon its Poll After Pro-Trump SOTU Response

CNN scrambled to conduct damage control after a large majority registered a ‘very positive’ reaction to President Trump’s State Of The Union Address.

In conjunction with SSRS, CNN conducted an ‘instant poll’ of SOTU watchers, and found that only 29 percent registered a negative response.

Meanwhile, 22 percent registered a ‘somewhat positive’ response, and an overwhelming majority of 48 percent registered a ‘very positive response’. So in total around 70 percent registered a positive response to Trump’s speech.

Well, this doesn’t fit with CNN’s obsessive obstruction campaign. Indeed, just moments earlier, host Jake Tapper had been complaining that Trump’s attempts to sow patriotic unity were ‘offensive’ and ‘alienating’.

Congressman Wanted Illegals Arrested at SOTU

Local and federal cops should arrest and deport undocumented immigrants who are attending Tuesday night’s State of the Union address in Washington, D.C., an Arizona Republican is demanding.

Local and federal cops should arrest and deport undocumented immigrants who are attending Tuesday night’s State of the Union address in Washington, D.C., an Arizona Republican is demanding.

Representative Paul Gosar tweeted on Tuesday a statement saying that he “contacted the U.S. Capitol Police, as well as Attorney General Jeff Sessions, asking they consider checking identification of all attending the State of the Union address and arresting any illegal aliens in attendance.”

Gosar also wants officers to arrest anyone “using fraudulent Social Security numbers and identification to pass through security.”

President to Focus on $1.5 Million Infrastructure Plan in SOTU

President Donald Trump, in his State of the Union speech Tuesday, plans to discuss a $1.5 trillion infrastructure improvement plan, White House economic advisor Gary Cohn told CNBC.

Fresh off a victory on a tax reform plan that Congress approved in December, the president next wants to focus on rebuilding the nation’s aging system of highways, transportation and other public works facilities.

In an interview on “Squawk Box,” Cohn called infrastructure “the next leg of the stool in our economic agenda.”

Ahead of State of the Union, Media Plays Violin For Illegals, Shames Deportation

An Ohio businessman who came to the United States 39 years ago has been deported. CBS News affiliate WKBN-TV reports immigration officials sent Amer “Al” Adi Othman back to his native country of Jordan on Monday night. His flight departed from Chicago.

Congressman Tim Ryan, who fought for Othman to stay in the U.S., released a written statement that reads in part: “It is a sad day for Amer, his family and our entire community. Amer Othman was ripped from his four daughters, his wife, and the country that he has called home for over 30 years. Amer was a pillar of the community and brought commerce to a downtown that craved investment. He hired members of our community. He paid taxes. He did everything right.”

“There are violent criminals walking the streets, yet our government wasted our previous resources incarcerating him,” Ryan continued. “I am deeply saddened and extremely disappointed with this outcome. I’m sad that America, and the American Presidency has become a place where politics outweighs doing what is right.”

Family members say they had little notice that their loved one was being deported. They were notified of Othman’s departure at 8 p.m., and had to say goodbye on the phone.

Establishment Bullying America to Accept Open Borders

Viviana Andazola Marquez, the daughter of an undocumented immigrant from Mexico, will be the guest of Democratic Colorado Congressman Ed Perlmutter at the State of the Union address on Tuesday, Jan. 30.

Marquez, who is attending Yale University and wants to become an immigration lawyer, says she’s looking forward to bringing her story to Washington.

What I think that I’d like to say to the rest of the lawmakers, the Democrats and Republicans alike, is that the policies that they are enacting are having real day-to-day consequences on people all across the nation — their constituents included,” she told the Denver Post in an interview.
