Hollywood elites were triggered following President Donald Trump’s acceptance speech Thursday and perhaps none more so than actor and comedian Jim Gaffigan, who experienced a nuclear-grade meltdown on the final day of the Republican National Convention.
The comedian fired off more than 15 five-alarm tweets in which he railed against the commander in chief as a “con man” and “rapist.” He also sounded off on the subjects of cancel culture, Trump Derangement Syndrome, and virtue signaling.
Jim Gaffigan, whose comedy special The Pale Tourist recently debuted on Amazon Prime Video, warned of an economic apocalypse if President Trump wins re-election in November, adding that a Trump victory will mean that it’s all “over.”
“To those of you who think Im destroying my career wake up. if trump gets elected, the economy will never come back,” he said in an epic tweetstorm.
Far left activists protesting outside the White House during President Donald Trump’s RNC acceptance speech lost their minds amid a massive pro-Trump fireworks display Thursday night.
The pyrotechnic spectacle, which managed to spell out “Trump” and “2020” in the sky with the Washington Monument as the backdrop, made Joe Biden’s relatively tiny display look like snakes and sparklers in comparison.
Dear students of Collierville High:
These are difficult times. But you knew that. What you may not have known is that the people who run your school would choose this precise moment to teach y’all an important lesson in leadership. So pay attention, OK?
The lesson is: Don’t do it like they’re doing it. Observe how they are doing it — take a close look at the stupidity of it all — and someday, when you are faced with a crisis, think back to your leaders at Collierville High School and tell yourself: “Oh, I remember! I’m not going to be as small and as boneheaded as they were!”
This has to do with Friday night’s football game, of course. And if you have been wondering why a high school football team is playing in the midst of a worldwide pandemic, well, extra credit for you. But the team played anyway. In front of roughly 650 friends and family. So, naturally, the local media planned to head out and report on the proceedings. What sort of social distancing measures were in effect? Did fans comply with them? Did it appear to be safe?
In response, your intrepid leaders decided to address these critical issues of public safety by saying: “No media allowed.”
That was the solution.
Liberals are fuming over a viral video showing a man propose to his girlfriend with a “Trump 2020” ring.
The video, shot earlier this week by pro-Trump Tik Tok user @MegaAmerican, starts with the couple standing in the rain with no umbrella looking at a small gazebo, before the man gets on one knee to make the proposal.
After about 30 seconds of the 40-second video, viewers learn the engagement ring features the slogan “Trump 2020” with an American flag backdrop.
Needless to say, liberals on Twitter were not happy with the surprise MAGA twist.
Tesco has stopped selling a children’s T-shirt following customer complaints that the design was “racist”.
The T-shirt featured a drawing of a black mermaid next to the caption: “That’s not my mermaid, her hair is too fluffy”.
The image and phrase come from the children’s book That’s Not My Mermaid…, unsold copies of which are also being shredded by publisher Usbourne.
The decision to remove the T-shirt from Tesco stores came after a mum from Dover, Kent, complained about it.
Katie Wells told Kent Live that when she first saw the T-shirt she felt excited “because diversity in clothing is particularly rare”. But when she read the text she was shocked.
CNN host Brian Stelter declared Sunday that it is both “offensive and otherworldly” that “right-wing” radio hosts would dare to question the mental health of Joe Biden, despite his constant brain freezes and bizarre gaffes.
“Let’s go on a trip together to a totally alternative universe.” Stelter sardonically began, adding “You never hear what’s happening there unless you tune in to right-wing talk radio, but you need to know what they are saying because the most popular, most powerful talkers in the country have trained their sights on Joe Biden.”
“What you are about to hear them say is mind-boggling. Look, whether you like Biden or not, this stuff is offensive and otherworldly,” Stelter added before playing clips of Rush Limbaugh, Mark Levin, Ben Shapiro and Michael Savage all noting how Biden doesn’t appear to be playing with a full deck.

A Trump campaign adviser generated swift criticism Monday after sharing a tweet that misgendered Pennsylvania’s top health official, who is a transgender woman.
“This guy is making decisions about your health,” Jenna Ellis, a senior legal adviser to the campaign, said in a tweet referencing the official. The tweet included a link to a story from May in which Pennsylvania Secretary of Health Rachel Levine asked not to be misgendered after a reporter repeatedly called her “sir” during a press briefing.
Levine is one of only a handful openly transgender people in public office in the United States.
“Dr. Levine is laser-focused on assisting Pennsylvanians in the midst of a national pandemic,” Pennsylvania Department of Health spokesman Nate Wardle told The Hill. “She does not have time for this nonsense.”

The mayor of Bloomingdale, Georgia, sparked outrage after he called out the “privilege” of people living on free government handouts, while being subsidized by productive taxpaying members of society.
In a post published in the Facebook group, “Gossip Bloomingdale GA,” Mayor Ben Rozier fired off a lengthy rant slamming the “privilege” of free loaders.
“Privilege is wearing $200 sneakers when you’ve never had a job.
“Privilege is wearing $300 Beats headphones while living on public assistance.
“Privilege is having a Smartphone with a Data plan which you receive no bill for.
Y tu Gandhi?
Activists in Britain are demanding the removal of a statue of Mahatma Gandhi in the city of Leicester. A petition to remove the Indian independence leader, which calls him out for “well-documented anti-black racism,” has nearly 5,000 signatures, the BBC reported.
Though he is most remembered for leading his people in nonviolent resistance against British colonialism, Gandhi also held publicly critical opinions of black Africans during his stint living in South Africa in the late 19th century.
“Gandhi too was an imperfect human being, [but] imperfect Gandhi was more radical and progressive than most contemporary compatriots,” Faisal Devji, a professor of Indian history at Oxford University, told the British news service.
The drive to remove Gandhi comes as Black Lives Matter protests have swept the globe toppling or defacing statues they deem to be racist. Earlier this week, BLM protesters in Bristol toppled a statue of 17th-century merchant and slave trader Edward Colston into the harbor.
“[Gandhi] is a fallible man as all men are, but to lump him in with slave owners, that’s a bit much,” Devji said.

Leftists have been celebrating and cheering Black Lives Matter and antifa destroying other people’s neighborhoods for five days in a row but now they’re up in arms over some white guys defending their own towns from the roaming mobs.
This hilarious clip out of Snohomish, Washington was shared Sunday on Twitter by a leftist who lamented how the town was “trash.”
It ended up going viral on right-wing Twitter with people pointing out how awesome it looked and how there were no looters.
The original poster ended up deleting the tweet.
