Michael Reinoehl, the Antifa activist who allegedly murdered a Patriot Prayer group demonstrator last week in Portland, apparently stalked his victim before shooting and killing him, newly unsealed court documents showed.
Reinoehl, who was killed Thursday night as federal marshals tried to arrest him for the alleged Aug. 29 murder of Aaron “Jay” Danielson, said in a Vice News interview that he acted in self-defense to prevent Danielson from stabbing him and a friend. But Portland police said in court documents released Friday that the incident wasn’t a chance encounter and began when Reinoehl spotted Danielson and another man, Chandler Pappas, walking on a street in downtown Portland.
Police said surveillance video showed Reinoehl turning into a parking garage entry after seeing the two Patriot Prayer members. “Reinoehl conceals himself, waits and watches as Danielson and Pappas continue walking by,” a police detective said. “Danielson and Pappas do not appear to interact or communicate with anyone and continue southbound on Southwest Third Avenue.”

A man working for Newport News Shipbuilding has been fired after refusing to remove his Trump hat, according to reports.
Dave Sunderland, 55, says he has regularly worn pro-Trump caps during the brief walk from his car to the work site, before donning a hard hat for his shift as a pipefitter for the company, which deals almost exclusively in building and maintaining vessels for the U.S. Navy.
Recently, a supervisor from another department observed him wearing a ‘Trump 2020’ hat, the Daily Press reports.
“He said, ‘You can’t wear that,’” Sunderland said. “And I said, ‘I’ve been wearing it for four years.’”
The supervisor subsequently notified a foreman to give Sunderland a “direct order to remove his Trump 2020 hat,” under the company’s policy against ‘campaigning’ on the work site.
Police in Colorado are searching for a woman who socked a 12-year-old boy repeatedly for carrying a “Trump 2020” sign.
The assault, which took place Monday afternoon in Boulder, happened after the boy, who was riding his bicycle with a Trump yard sign in tow, looked at the woman as she rode by in a moped.
According to the boy, the woman made a U-turn and came back to ask, “You want something to look at?” before proceeding to strike him with a closed fist, according to TheDenverChannel.com.
More from TheDenverChannel.com:
Police said the woman then used a closed fist to strike the boy in the back of the head and arms several times, and also caused a scratch on the boy’s left arm. While it did not cause pain, the boy told his father the scratch “burned,” according to the [police] report.
The police report states the woman then reportedly tried to take the Trump sign from the boy’s hands, who was using it to defend himself against the attack before she took off.
Video from Kenosha, Wisconsin shows a Trump supporter being viciously kicked in the head and then chased down the street by a Black Lives Matter mob in yet another example of political violence.
The confrontation began with loud arguments between the two sides but soon spiraled into physical attacks.
A short clip shows a man on the ground before he is booted in the head by a leftist. Thankfully, the man only sustained relatively minor injuries, but the force of the blow could have caused brain damage or even death in another instance.
Another clip then shows the baying mob chasing the same man down the street.
A member of the pro-Trump “Patriot Prayer” group was reportedly shot dead in the street during a pro-Trump rally in downtown Portland on Saturday night.
The shooter is at large.
From The New York Times, “Deadly Shooting in Portland After Pro-Trump Ralliers Clash With Protesters”:
A man was shot and killed Saturday as a large group of supporters of President Trump traveled in a caravan through downtown Portland, Ore., which has seen nightly protests for three consecutive months.
The pro-Trump rally drew hundreds of trucks full of supporters into the city. At times, Trump supporters and counterprotesters clashed on the streets, with people shooting paintball guns from the beds of pickup trucks and protesters throwing objects back at them.
A video that purports to be of the shooting, taken from the far side of the street, showed a small group of people in the road outside what appears to be a parking garage. Gunfire erupts, and a man collapses in the street.
The man who was shot and killed was wearing a hat with the insignia of Patriot Prayer, a far-right group based in Portland that has clashed with protesters in the past.
The Portland Police Bureau said that officers heard reports of gunfire shortly before 9 p.m. and found a victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. It was determined that the victim had died. They did not release any information about a possible gunman.
At the scene, police officers blocked off the road and medics attended to a person who appeared to have a chest wound.

The Washington Post has agreed to settle a $250 million defamation lawsuit lodged against them by Covington Catholic school student Nick Sandmann, who alleged the publication smeared his reputation in the days following the infamous January 2019 incident.
Sandmann announced on Twitter Friday that after over a year of litigation, the leftist media outlet owned by Amazon billionaire Jeff Bezos had agreed to settle the suit, brought on after the publication falsely attacked him for smirking at a professional activist while wearing a MAGA hat during a January 2019 March for Life rally.
“On 2/19/19, I filed $250M defamation lawsuit against Washington Post. Today, I turned 18 & WaPo settled my lawsuit,” Sandmann wrote on Twitter, thanking his attorneys and the “millions of you who have stood your ground by supporting me.”

A 60-year-old black Donald Trump supporter was shot dead in broad daylight near his “Vote Trump” banners on Thursday.
Bernell Trammell was killed in front of his business, Expression Publications, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin while campaigning for President Trump.
The suspect drove up in front of Expression Publications where Trammell sat outside, shot him, and drove off, according to law enforcement. They are investigating whether Trammell was killed over his political beliefs.
Trammell gave a video interview about why he supported Trump just hours before he was killed.
Witnesses Andrew Olmstead and Taylen Pulley said the police tried to revive Trammell with CPR but were unsuccessful.
“We walked outside on the porch and we see all these cars, so we’re like, ‘let’s go over and see what’s going on,’” Olmstead said.
“We saw the cops pull up: the vans, ambulance, firefighters, and we sat and watched. They gave CPR for about 15-20 minutes,” Pulley said.
Anti-Trump protesters surrounded a woman wearing a MAGA hat Wednesday at an El Paso, Texas, memorial to last weekend’s shooting spree that killed 22 people.
A CBS reporter noted, “Tensions get heated at the site of the memorial in El Paso when a woman wearing a #MAGA hat is surrounded by those who oppose Donald Trump and his visit to El Paso.
A woman in the crowd can be heard shouting “We don’t negotiate with terrorists.”

A Trump supporter in Philadelphia fears she’s being targeted for her political beliefs after an arsonist set her car on fire over the weekend.
Laurie Livingston, 65, said her car’s been targeted by vandals at least three times in the past 5 months. She’s experienced broken windows and slashed tires for reasons unclear.
But Livingston says an early Monday morning incident which left her car destroyed can be attributed to one thing: a cardboard cutout of President Donald Trump in her front seat.
A man was kicked out of a Disney theme park yet again for displaying a giant banner campaigning for President Trump’s re-election.
Dion Cini unfurled the banner with the help of a friend during the Mark Twain riverboat ride at Disneyland in Anaheim, California, as another accomplice filmed the event.
In a video posted to YouTube, theme park patrons can be heard yelling at the men as they held up the massive flag reading “Re-elect Trump 2020,” and “Keep America Great.”
Disney officials cited a regulation banning flags banners and signs as they removed Cini from the park Wednesday, but he’d already been banned by Disney Resorts previously.
