Twitter has confirmed that President Donald Trump will no longer receive “special protections” beginning on January 20th at 12:01 p.m. if he does not win the election.
The platform has already been censoring the president and his supporters for years, but is now promising even more censorship if he does not fall in line.
Twitter claims to have a policy in which they allow tweets from world leaders that would otherwise be censored from normal civilians. On Thursday, they confirmed to Bloomberg News that former leaders do not have the same protections.

Twitter to Label Tweets With ‘Premature Election Claims’
Nearly half of Donald Trump’s tweets since the presidential election have had to be flagged by Twitter.
Mr Trump has tweeted false messages about political rivals stealing the election, questioned the integrity of the ballot counters, baselessly claimed that ballots are being secretly dumped, and claimed victories in swing states where votes continue to be counted.
Seven out of the past 18 tweets since the election required flagging.
In his most recent tweet, the president said that votes that came in after election day would not be counted; this is not true, and numerous states have continued counting after election day in previous races.
Delaware Republican senate candidate Lauren Witzke has been locked out of her Twitter account for a second time in a week, after posting a tweet about the Paris terrorist attack that was critical of immigration.
The candidate is now calling for Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey and other big tech leaders to be jailed for violating the First Amendment rights of American citizens.
Witzke was locked out of her account last week for a tweet about the impact of mass migration into Europe.
The latest censorship came after Witzke shared a tweet that included a photo of a teacher’s severed head that was posted to Twitter by a man who claimed to have been the terrorist behind the attack. She commented “Mass third world immigration: The gift that keeps on giving!” along with the screenshot.
There have now been 126 international studies on HCQ (hydroxychloroquine) and its effectiveness in treating the coronavirus.
76 of these international studies are peer reviewed.
64%, or nearly 2/3’s of the studies found HCQ effective in treating COVID-19 in the early treatment stage of the disease.
After President Trump announced he had been tested positive for the coronavirus Dr. David Samadi, a top 100 US doctor tweeted out encouragement to President Trump and suggested the proven early treatment of HCQ, zinc and Zpack.
For this Dr. Zamadi was banned from Twitter.
Twitter has blocked anyone from posting the link “antifa.com,” which redirects users to Joe Biden’s official campaign website.
Earlier this week, a number of conservatives noted that the URL “antifa.com” when posted redirected people to Biden’s official campaign website. Many posted on Twitter that this was unsurprising, given the support from the Democrats for antifa and Black Lives Matter rioters.
“Go to antifa.com and you will see who is truly supportive of the domestic terrorism campaing slaughtering black people and destroying America,” Charlie Kirk of Turning Point USA tweeted.
On Monday night, as President Donald Trump began posting about the use of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19 following a viral video of a doctor touting its ability to not only treat but prevent the disease, Twitter removed at least three of the president’s tweets, leaving no trace of what the president wrote on the social media platform.
Tensions between the big tech website and President Trump appear to have reached a new height, as the platform has now censored several posts by President Trump that appear to have promoted the use of hydroxychloroquine to treat COVID-19.
The president began sharing articles and tweets promoting the use of hydroxychloroquine after a viral video of frontline doctors revealing their experiences treating COVID-19 in the field.

Perjury: Twitter Admits it Censors Content After Vehemently Denying it to Congress
Twitter has suspended Michelle Malkin for a tweet that argued that “violent criminal looters” should be shot, and is demanding she remove it.
Malkin, the conservative and pro-America First political commentator, had written on Twitter as the recent Black Lives Matter riots first spread around the country that “violent criminal looters should be shot.”
Five days after posting the initial tweet, Twitter decided that Malkin’s comments violate their rules against “abuse and harassment,” and have demanded that she delete the tweet. If she does, a 12 hour countdown will begin before she is no longer suspended from the platform.

Ted Cruz Calling For Criminal Investigation into Twitter
GOP House leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) has called on Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey to testify in front of Congress on the topic of shadowbanning and censorship on social media.
GOP House leader Kevin McCarthy sent a letter to Greg Walden, the chairman of the House Energy and Commerce Committee, in which McCarthy requested that Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey be called to testify before the committee. This follows recent reports that Twitter was engaging in shadowbanning, a method of limiting a Twitter account’s reach by a range of actions, including preventing a user’s followers from seeing tweets from their account. This practice has appeared to disproportionately affect conservatives on the platform.
Speaking to Breitbart News exclusively, McCarthy said: “It is impossible to ignore the fact that only one party is being slammed by this censorship, over and over again,” said McCarthy. “When only one side is doing the talking, you don’t call it a dialogue. You call it a lecture.”
Rep. Devin Nunes said he is looking at possible legal action against Twitter over the “shadow banning” fiasco that temporarily decreased the visibility he and other Republicans had on the social media platform.
Last week, Vice News reported that Nunes, along with several other conservative Republican figures, were harder to find on Twitter as their accounts did not show up on the auto-populated drop-down search box.
“It sure looks to me like they are censoring people and they ought to stop it. We are looking at any legal remedies to go through,” Nunes, R-Calif., said at the end of a Sunday morning interview on Fox News.
Twitter has partially lifted a shadow ban on conservatives using its platform after Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz threatened to file an FEC complaint against the company.
Even far-left VICE admitted that conservatives were being censored in a report yesterday which observed, “The Republican Party chair Ronna McDaniel, several conservative Republican congressmen, and Donald Trump Jr.’s spokesman no longer appear in the auto-populated drop-down search box on Twitter.”
The report went on to highlight how the policy served to diminish the reach of conservatives on the platform and how high profile liberals were not impacted by the shadow ban. Despite this, Twitter insisted that the problem had nothing to do with politics.
After Infowars launched a petition opposing shadow banning, Twitter announced that it would seek to fix the issue.
The final straw was almost certainly Republican Florida Rep. Matt Gaetz’s threat to file a complaint with the FEC about the shadow banning of conservatives.
“I am contemplating a complaint with the FEC, because if my political opponents have better access to the Twitter platform than I do, that’s no different than a private company giving my political opponents access to a billboard or television time or radio time,” Gaetz said. “That wouldn’t be equal.”
