Bush-Appointed Judge Allows Zuckerberg to Fund Dem Districts With $100M

Facebook boss Mark Zuckerberg will donate another $100 million to aid election officials around the US after an initial $300 million grant was ruled lawful by a federal judge despite warning that the money could distort the vote.

A lawsuit challenging the grant scheme in Wisconsin was struck down on Wednesday, with US District Judge William Griesbach stating that he found no legal reason to bar five major cities in the state from receiving $6.3 million from the donated funds. However, Griesbach noted in his decision that the private cash could potentially influence the outcome of the election.

The risk of skewing an election by providing additional private funding for conducting the election in certain areas of the state may be real.

FB Attacks Netflix Film ‘The Social Dilemma’

Well, this is quite unusual.

On Friday, Facebook released a long statement about the movie The Social Dilemma in the form of a PDF on its website.

As long as I’ve been following the social media juggernaut, I haven’t seen a response like this to a specific movie or specific claims by one entity.

It’s a big step in terms of a new counter-offensive and makes me think the movie must be having an impact on people who use the service and are wondering about the real value of Facebook.

Instagram Promotes Obesity, Refuses Ads For Weight Loss Programs

Social media giant Instagram is promoting images of obese people in the name of ‘body positivity’ while refusing to accept healthy eating ads which include photos that show people with well toned bodies.

Fitness guru Alex Feinberg tweeted about the issue, noting that an ad campaign for weight loss that showed images of his successful dieting program was blocked by Instagram.

The reason given was that the promotional material, “uses images that excessively focus on a person’s body or any given body part,” and that this “can make users feel bad about themselves, and goes against our core value of fostering a positive global community.”

Feinberg then compared the refusal of his ad to an image of a morbidly obese woman who has over 500,000 followers, which Instagram did not relegate in its algorithm.

“Instagram boosts this chic to over 500K followers and won’t let me advertise pics with my shirt off Because it “can make users feel bad about themselves” The end is nigh folks,” tweeted Feinberg.

Zuckerberg: Americans Need to Accept Election Result Could Take Weeks to be Confirmed

Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg insists that Americans must get used to the idea that the election result may take “weeks” to be confirmed after voting on November 3.

“One of the things that we and the media need to start doing is preparing the American people that there is nothing illegitimate about this election taking additional days or weeks to make sure all the votes are counted,” Zuckerberg told Axios.

He added that the company would begin a “messaging” campaign to convince Americans that such a scenario is “normal.”

Zuckerberg then re-iterated that the company would not allow candidates to announce victory prematurely without it being challenged, something that, given Facebook’s brazen political bias, is only likely to be deployed against Republicans.

FB Bans Support of Kyle Rittenhouse

Facebook is officially designating the actions of Kyle Rittenhouse, the 17-year-old who allegedly killed two people and wounded another in Kenosha, Wisconsin, after being mobbed and attacked by rioters, a “mass murder,” despite the fact that this has not been proven in court. Facebook confirmed that it would remove any posts that support Rittenhouse.

Conservative author and YouTube personality Mark Dice reported that his Facebook page had received a threat of suspension after he posted a video of Rittenhouse offering to give medical assistance to wounded protesters in Kenosha shortly before the shooting.

“Facebook just removed a video I posted showing Kyle Rittenhouse offering help to a wounded protester in Kenosha,” said Dice, who also posted the video on Twitter.

Mark Zuckerberg’s fortune has topped $100bn for the first time, placing him among members of the world’s centibillionaires’ club.

This comes after Facebook’s shares surged by 6% on the news that the company plans to launch Instagram Reels, a rival to the Chinese video-sharing application TikTok.

According to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index, Facebook’s CEO has joined Amazon’s CEO, Jeff Bezos, and Microsoft’s founder Bill Gates, as the only people with centibillionaire status.

Earlier this week, US President Donald Trump banned US companies from dealing with ByteDance and Tencent – the Chinese owners of TikTok and the WeChat messaging service.

The 36-year old media magnate has joined Jeff Bezos, the Amazon founder, and Bill Gates, Microsoft’s founder, as the only people who have centibillionaire status, the Bloomberg Billionaires Index said.

Zuckerberg, who founded Facebook while a student at Harvard in 2004, owns a 13% stake in the company. Earlier, he said that he was going to give away 99% of his Facebook shares over his lifetime to charity.

FB Cranks Up Censorship Efforts Against Official Narratives

Tech giant Facebook has reportedly threatened to “unpublish” the page of PragerU just one week after Twitter suspended the educational non-profit’s account.

Social media giant Facebook has reportedly threatened to “unpublish” the page of the conservative non-profit group PragerU just a week after Twitter suspended the group’s account. Facebook has threatened to delete PragerU’s page for allegedly repeatedly violating the website’s community standards.

PragerU told Breitbart News that Facebook is retroactively deleting and flagging old PragerU posts and counting one video posted by the group as “multiple violations” which has contributed to the page being marked as “at-risk” of being unpublished.

Zuckerberg Admits FB Suppresses ‘Hate Speech’ Before It’s Seen By Anyone

Facebook censors almost 90 percent of ‘hate speech’ before it’s allowed to circulate, CEO Mark Zuckerberg told Congress at Wednesday’s Big Tech hearing, responding to pressure from Democrats to submit to the advertiser boycott.

“We’re able to proactively identify 89 percent of the hate speech that we take down before, I think, it’s even seen by other people,” Zuckerberg told the Antitrust Subcommittee of the US House of Representatives on Wednesday.

The statement was in response to Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-Maryland) pressuring Facebook to “join the civil rights movement” by submitting to the demands of the Stop Hate For Profit campaign, an advertising boycott accusing Facebook of tolerating “widespread hate” on the platform.

Babylon Bee Points Out Ridiculousness of Face masks

Facebook confirmed today that to prevent the spread of coronavirus and promote a safe space to virtue-signal, masks will be required on all profile pictures going forward.

If you log in to Facebook you will be prompted to change your profile picture to one where you are wearing a mask. If you don’t have a mask, Facebook offers digital mask filters to give the appearance that you’re wearing one. Those who refuse the mask will be asked to delete their accounts.

“This is an issue of public safety,” said Mark Zuckerberg. “We were seeing people just commenting on things and posting memes and stuff while their face was clearly visible. The CDC currently says that masks are good, and therefore, you must wear a mask.”

An assistant then whispered in Zuckerberg’s ear.
